Subject: Anyone else seen this ... "IBM Lotus Notes does not have a valid production license..."
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: User Interface
Platform: ALL
Release: Notes and Domino 8 - GOLD
Reproducible: Always
For the last few days I have been receiving the following message each time I start Lotus Notes 8...
"IBM Lotus Notes does not have a production license. A temporary evaluation license has been enrolled for you to use for 60 days."
I've been using Notes now for a few years (just one or two) and have never seen anything like it. None of my colleagues have received the same message, and we have all installed from the same download (available from PartnerWorld since Notes 8 went gold).
Has anyone else seen this message, or is anyone able to shed some light on this message?
How does one enrol for a valid production license? Other applications - Adobe, Dark-Side, etc - all have some sort of option available from the [Help] menu, but nothing seems to explain how to "get" a production license.
Thanks
Mat
